The sun even followed us wherever we went. The prize for best accommodation was Driftwood Park Retreat in Advocate Harbour. The chalet was right on the beach, and was very clean and well appointed. The owners, Su and John, were lovely and helpful without being in any way intrusive. Amazingly, the best restaurant was also in Advocate Harbour. We ate well everywhere and spent a lot of money in good restaurants but the best cooking and value for money was the Wild Caraway.
We'll be back to Nova Scotia, for sure!
